Extended services
It is the college aim to provide a varied menu of activities:

Extension – activities that build on classroom activities for example homework, clubs, support for coursework and exam revision, subject based clubs, sport, games and outdoor activities, creative activities such as dance, music, drama) and educational visits including residential events.
Enlargement – activities that go beyond the curriculum, including opportunities for voluntary activities in the school or the community.

Enabling – activities to develop key skills, or the provision of individual support through, for example mentoring.
The purpose is to improve motivation, build self-esteem and help students become effective learners, to raise achievement and to promote the five Every Child Matters outcomes for children. These are to be healthy, stay safe, to enjoy and achieve, to make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being.


Parenting support
This part of the core offer focuses on delivering parenting initiatives in any form needed in the Partnership area.
